Busy Saturday

We had a fun day yesterday with an outing to the Atlanta area. First, we stopped at Deer Creek Farm in Forsyth to pick blackberries and blueberries. (We brought a cooler to keep them from going bad in the car.) Then we continued on to Atlanta where we visited Grandpa Jennings who had a booth at the Peachtree Hills Festival of the Arts. After browsing throught the art fair, eating lunch, and playing on the playground, we went on to Cartersville to the Tellus Science Museum. On our way home, we stopped at The Varsity for dinner.

Picking Berries

The boys were fascinated with this car at the art fair.
Grandpa's Tent
On the way out of the art fair, the boys each had a poem written for them by poets from Free Poems on Demand.

Patiently waiting while the poets worked
Oliver requested his poem be about Star Wars.

Henry requested a poem about baseball.

Then on to the Tellus Science Museum.

The boys were each given a small piece of dinosaur bone!

And finally, to The Varsity for dinner.
