Here are a few (maybe too many) pictures from our beach trip to Destin, FL this past weekend. Over a year ago I succumbed to an over-the-phone offer for an inexpensive vacation in exchange for us attending a two-hour time share sales presentation. We just finally got around to scheduling the trip. It went well (and we didn't buy a time share--phew!). The beaches in Destin were beautiful!
Henry made this sand picture of Poseidon with his trident and Pegasus
(I'm sure you could tell that without a caption, though...)
The boys had their last day of school on Tuesday. I now officially have a kindergartner and a third grader! Baseball season also just ended, so the boys and I are looking forward to a little free time.
Here is Henry at his spring chorus/strings performance.
Here are a couple of videos from the performance. The first is Vineville Strings playing "Jasmine Flower."
This is a really terrible video, unfortunately, but the song and the kids are really cute. Both of Vineville's choruses are singing "We Come Together," from Grease.
Vineville Academy Awards Night
Henry got awards for straight As and outstanding attendance. At another awards ceremony during the school day, he also got awards for having the most Accelerated Reader and Math 24 points in 2nd grade. We were very proud.
Oliver's school had an end of the year picnic which Matt attended, but he forgot the camera. Oliver had a great year in Pre-K. His (wonderful) teacher had many positive things to say about him on his report card including, "Oliver gets along well with other children and easily interacts with familiar adults. He is a role model for his peers."
Here is Ollie at his end of season T-ball party with his participation trophy.
Henry's C-ball season ended last night at the championship game. His team took second place!
